There once was a story about a guy named Scott, who lived with a guy named Nick. They got tired of complaining to their friend – a guy named Rory – about the kind of music they weren’t hearing in bars or local music venues. They started a band. It was louder than anything anyone else was playing.
Along came Pete, who happened to be related to Scott and Nick. He was a guitar player who had never picked up a bass. The four made it work. And it was even louder.
After playing with a guy named Daniel for just over 6 months, along came a guy named Jeff, who happened to be able to bang on the drums and went to school with Nick and Rory. They played louder still. Eardrums were severed.
Scott is the oldest. Rory is the youngest. Jeff is the least clothed. Nick is the purveyor of whiskey. Pete can kick your ass and produce your record at the same time.
Since 2009, City Zoo has been spreading their infectious blend of twisted rock n’ roll all over the city of New Orleans. In the future, they hope to lord over all that is rock by playing with other outstanding bands and musicians, tearing up as yet to be named musical establishments, and forcibly shredding holes in the ear canals of all that cross their path.
