So last night we beat up & turned out Allways Lounge in usual City Zoo fashion. Growling guitars and screaming filled the Sunday night air while we partied with the NOLA Project and the members of their cool hit show, Finer Noble Gases (it’s only playing for 1 more week so you better catch it!)
I have this sneaking suspicion that we’re actually getting louder as a band. Which means I seriously need to invest in a heavy duty amplifier to hook up to some of these PA’s we play through. I’m currently taking donations.

Why don't I see these guys on Carrolton & Earhart?
During the show, we decided to unveil a new song, Most of the Time. For those that where there or know us – Nick & Pete switch instruments on this one. We have a couple more in the works, so look to hear more new material at upcoming shows!
Before the show, I remember either Nick or Rory asking the bar-tender what “Naked Karaoke” was. I was preoccupied with beer and song lyrics, so I didn’t pay too much attention to the comment. However, after the show, we got to find out what it was. Although only one person actually did it – the name says it all. You get naked and sing karaoke. ’nuff said. I went home before the night was done so I only saw the one naked person.
All in all, if you think about it – this would make for one hell of a regular thing. Theatre – Rock Concert – Naked Karaoke. Where in the south can you get that all in one night & one place other than New Orleans? It was just cool to be a part of it. There’s people in this town who are willing to let it all ‘hang’ out, literally. It’s amazing to live in a city like that.
